In Friday's non-league outing, the host Lafayette Hornets soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 win over the Jefferson County Tigers.

The Hornets (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Bears enter the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Dixie County was overwhelmed by Bell (Bell, FL), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Wakulla War Eagles (Crawfordville, FL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 9. Jefferson County will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
