The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Durango Demons (Durango, CO) and the host Caprock Academy Eagles (Grand Junction, CO), witnessed Durango's ice hockey team defeat Caprock Academy by a score of 3-1.

The Demons (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO). The Titans come into the 4A Mountain challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Crested Butte by Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO), 4-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) in a 4A Mountain challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Caprock Academy will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO).
