Council Rock South Golden Hawks (Holland, PA) boosters were satisfied Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team defeat the host Central Bucks East Patriots (Doylestown, PA), 9-2 in a league challenge.

The Golden Hawks (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Bucks West (Doylestown, PA). The Bucks come into the challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Central Bucks West was routed by Pennridge (Perkasie, PA), 10-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Pennsbury Falcons (Fairless Hills, PA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Central Bucks East will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 4-2 league win over Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA).
