The Fort Dale Academy Eagles basketball team scored 30 points and limited the visiting Bessemer Academy Rebels to 15 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Sparta Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, January 30.
With the loss, Bessemer Academy falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Rebels host Banks Academy (Birmingham, AL) to confront the Jets in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Jets go into the game with a record of 0-0.
