The Dublin Fighting Irish basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Wilkinson County Warriors to 53 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fighting Irish now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson County for a non-league game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Wilkinson County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Warriors host Hancock Central (Sparta, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a game on Friday, January 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-6. Hancock Central lost 49-44 in their recent non-league game against Warren County (Warrenton, GA)
