In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting St. John Paul II Catholic Lions soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans.

The Lions (7-0) will now prepare for their outing against Phoenix Country Day (Paradise Valley, AZ). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
