North Carolina High School Basketball - South Guilford HomeSchool toppled by Shining Light Academy

Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars (Greensboro, NC), 63-51 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Shining Light Academy upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC) to confront the Firebirds in a non-league contest on Monday, December 29. The Firebirds go into the contest with a record of 6-4. Phoenix Academy won 64-57 in their recent non-league contest against The College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC)

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Legacy Athletics Stallions (Wilkesboro, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 5. South Guilford HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Stallions enter the outing with a 3-6 record after their 40-30 non-league win over Alexander Christian Academy (Hickory, NC).
