North Carolina High School Basketball - Westover defeats South View

The Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC) basketball were winner over the host South View Tigers (Hope Mills, NC), 59-48 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 10. Westover will play a Chargers team coming off a 81-48 non-league win over Hillside (Durham, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, South View falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Colts go into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Cape Fear won 59-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC)
