In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Lockport Porters basketball team scored a good 44-26 triumph over the Lincoln-Way East Griffins.

The Porters (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Barbs go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, DeKalb was topped by Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL), 79-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Griffins battle the Joliet West Tigers (Joliet, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 27. Lincoln-Way East will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 65-57 league loss to Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL).
