Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bonham Warriors (Bonham, TX), 53-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Gunter upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Tigers host Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX) to clash with the Cardinals in a 3A Region II District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Pottsboro won 62-31 in their recent league bout against Howe (Howe, TX)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Caddo Mills Foxes (Caddo Mills, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 27. Bonham will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Foxes go into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 63-46 league loss to Ford (Quinlan, TX).
