Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets (Marriottsville, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), 53-46 in a league bout.
With the victory, Chapelgate Christian Academy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Key (Annapolis, MD) to play the Obezags in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Obezags come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Key lost 69-47 in their recent non-league bout against Southern (Harwood, MD)
Next up, the Friars play the Pharos Academy Gulls (Bronx, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Archbishop Curley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Gulls come into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 79-67 non-league loss to Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA).
