Boonton Bombers (Boonton, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ), 61-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Boonton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Madison (Madison, NJ) to play the Dodgers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Dodgers come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Madison lost 56-49 in their recent non-league bout against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ)

Next up, the Crimson play the Kinnelon Colts (Kinnelon, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 23. Morristown-Beard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Colts come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 55-47 non-league win over Dover (Dover, NJ).
