Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC) and the visiting McBee Panthers (McBee, SC), saw Buford's basketball squad hold off McBee by a tally of 67-63.

With the victory, Buford improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host York (York, SC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-8.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 29. McBee will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
