Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), saw East Rowan's basketball squad overcome Central Davidson by a tally of 79-66.
With the victory, East Rowan improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 2-8.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Central Davidson will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 74-35 non-league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
