South Amboy Governors (South Amboy, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dunellen Destroyers (Dunellen, NJ), 43-24 in a league bout.

With the win, South Amboy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Governors host Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Roselle Park lost 64-58 in their recent league bout against Dayton (Springfield, NJ)

Next up, the Destroyers play the Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Dunellen will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
