Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME), 54-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jonesport-Beals upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Royals travel to Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME) to play the Mariners in a D North bout on Thursday, December 22. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Deer Isle-Stonington lost 51-22 in their recent non-league bout against Searsport (Searsport, ME)

Next up, the Knights play the Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Narraguagus will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
