Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Troy Trojans (Troy, PA), 43-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mansfield upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Trojans play the Canton Warriors (Canton, PA) in a Northern Tier bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
