Maryland High School Basketball - Glen Burnie crushes Chesapeake

Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Chesapeake Cougars (Pasadena, MD), 59-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Glen Burnie upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Gophers host North County (Glen Burnie, MD) to play the Knights in a Anne Arundel County bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 0-3. North County lost 38-2 in their recent non-league bout against Broadneck (Annapolis, MD)

Next up, the Cougars play the Central Falcons (Capitol Heights, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Chesapeake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 53-31 league win over College Park Academy (Riverdale, MD).
