Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL), 37-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crystal Lake South upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Gators host Woodstock (Woodstock, IL) to clash with the Blue Streaks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Woodstock lost 49-33 in their recent non-league bout against Antioch (Antioch, IL)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) in a Fox Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 4. McHenry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record.
