Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), 44-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Falcons travel to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-2. San Leandro won 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty (Brentwood, CA)

Next up, the Matadors clash with the Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Granada will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 33-32 non-league loss to Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA).
