Madison Dodgers (Madison, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ), 41-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Madison upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Dodgers travel to Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 22. The Mountaineers come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Bernards won 51-47 in their recent non-league bout against South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ)

Next up, the Crimson play the Morris Catholic Crusaders (Denville, NJ) in a North Jersey - Liberty bout, on Friday, December 23. Morristown-Beard will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 79-24 league win over Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ).
