The Minisink Valley Warriors basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Monticello Panthers to 39 in the Warriors league victory on Wednesday.

The Warriors now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Port Jervis for a Section 9 Orange County III contest on Friday, December 23. Minisink Valley will battle a Raiders team coming off a 33-5 non-league win over Eldred (Eldred, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Dragons come into the Section 9 Orange County III contest with a 2-0 record.
