The Canyon Cowboys basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Lancaster Eagles to 33 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cowboys now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camarillo for a non-league contest on Monday, December 26. Canyon will battle a Scorpions team coming off a 88-53 non-league win over Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Scorpions record now stands at 8-6.

The Eagles (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Antelope Valley (Lancaster, CA). The Antelopes come into the contest with a 4-7 record.
