The Durango Demons basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Pagosa Springs Pirates to 46 in the Demons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Demons now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montezuma-Cortez for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Durango will meet a Panthers team coming off a 59-26 non-league loss to Durango (Durango, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
The Pirates (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Wolverines enter the contest with a 0-2 record.
