Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA), 43-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rabun County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Lions play the Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Lakeview Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Paladins come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 55-19 non-league loss to The King's Academy (Woodstock, GA).
