Texas High School Basketball - New Summerfield trounced by Alto

The Alto Yellowjackets routed the visiting New Summerfield Hornets basketball squad by a margin of 79-41 in Thursday's league outing.

The Yellowjackets (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Malakoff (Malakoff, TX). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Malakoff was trounced by Mildred (Corsicana, TX), 49-45, in a league outing.

The Hornets now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Laneville for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. New Summerfield will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 44-41 non-league loss to Cushing (Cushing, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-11.
