Amistad Wolves (New Haven, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Whitney RVT Owls (Hamden, CT), 73-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Amistad upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Trumbull won 60-40 in their recent non-league bout against Masuk (Monroe, CT)

Next up, the Owls play the Westbrook Knights (Westbrook, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Whitney RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 70-47 league loss to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT).
