Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Annapolis Cougars (Dearborn Heights, MI), 86-26 in a league bout.

With the victory, Romulus upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Bowsher (Toledo, OH) to play the BlueRacers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The BlueRacers come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Bowsher lost 77-56 in their recent non-league bout against Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH)

Next up, the Cougars play the Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) in a Western Wayne bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Annapolis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 63-43 league loss to Redford Union (Redford, MI).
