The Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons topped the visiting Union Knights basketball team by a final score of 62-52 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Falcons face the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 5. Aplington-Parkersburg will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 4-6 record after their 86-61 non-league win over BCLUW (Conrad, IA).
With the defeat, Union moves to 7-2 on the year. The Knights host Columbus (Waterloo, IA) to face the Sailors in a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Thursday, January 4.
