Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Baldwyn Bearcats (Baldwyn, MS), 70-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Biggersville upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Lions host Corinth (Corinth, MS) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Corinth won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS)

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Baldwyn will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record.
