Arkansas High School Basketball - Rogers can't hold off Bentonville West

The Bentonville West Wolverines basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Rogers Mountaineers to 41 in the Wolverines league victory on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillcrest for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Bentonville West will battle a Screamin Eagles team coming off a 53-42 non-league loss to Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR). The Screamin Eagles record now stands at 4-17.
The Mountaineers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Fort Smith, AR). The Grizzlies come into the 6A West contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Northside was nudged by Har-Ber (Springdale, AR), 69-56, in a league contest.
