Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD), 87-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Smithsburg upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Leopards travel to Perry Hall (Baltimore, MD) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 26. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Perry Hall won 64-56 in their recent league bout against Chesapeake (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Warriors play the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) in a CMC bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Boonsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
