Nevada High School Basketball - Legacy can't hold off Canyon Springs

The Canyon Springs Pioneers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Legacy Longhorns to 55 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Pioneers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cimarron-Memorial for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Canyon Springs will battle a Spartans team coming off a 48-26 non-league win over Nazareth Prep (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.

The Longhorns (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth Prep (Pittsburgh, PA). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Nazareth Prep was nudged by Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV), 48-26, in a non-league contest.
