California High School Basketball - Willows topples Central Valley

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Willows Honkers (Willows, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), by a count of 54-40.

The Honkers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA). The Lions go into the Five Star outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Redding Christian was topped by East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA), 59-55, in a non-league outing.

The Falcons now hold a 0-11 record. They play next when they travel to Princeton for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 21. Central Valley will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 69-56 non-league win over CORE Butte (Chico, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-0.
