Dallastown Wildcats (Dallastown, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host South Western Mustangs (Hanover, PA), 52-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Dallastown upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Penn Manor (Millersville, PA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Penn Manor lost 72-28 in their recent league bout against Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Gettysburg Warriors (Gettysburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. South Western will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 56-51 non-league win over Big Spring (Newville, PA).
