Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Saks Wildcats (Anniston, AL) and the visiting Donoho Falcons (Anniston, AL), saw Saks's basketball squad hold off Donoho by a tally of 69-65.

With the victory, Saks improves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Weaver (Weaver, AL) to battle the Bearcats in a 3A Area 11 contest on Friday, January 5. The Bearcats come into the contest with a record of 6-7.

The Falcons (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL). The Thunder come into the non-league contest with a 5-8 record.
