Union Knights/Damsels (Rimersburg, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host East Forest Bears (Marienville, PA), 54-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Union upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Knights/Damsels travel to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 26. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Slippery Rock lost 76-48 in their recent non-league bout against Butler (Butler, PA)

Next up, the Bears play the Clarion Area Bobcats (Clarion, PA) in a Keystone Shortway bout, on Tuesday, January 2. East Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bobcats come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 60-57 league loss to Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA).
