Estero Wildcats (Estero, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Immokalee Indians (Immokalee, FL), 50-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Estero upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Gaither (Tampa, FL) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Cowboys come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Gaither won 76-50 in their recent non-league bout against Brandon Academy (Brandon, FL)

Next up, the Indians play the Oasis Sharks (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Immokalee will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Sharks come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 68-63 non-league win over Aubrey Rogers (Naples, FL).
