Alabama High School Basketball - Valiant Cross Academy thwarts Evangel Christian

December 21, 2023: Montgomery, AL 36104

The Valiant Cross Academy Warriors (Montgomery, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Evangel Christian Lightning (Alabaster, AL), 61-53 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Banks Academy (Birmingham, AL). The Jets go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Banks Academy notched a victory over Restoration Academy (Fairfield, AL), 70-50, in a non-league test.

The Lightning now own a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Restoration Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Evangel Christian will encounter a squad coming off a 70-50 non-league loss to Banks Academy (Birmingham, AL). The record now stands at 7-5.
