The Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers (Falls City, OR) basketball knocked off the host Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR), 53-44 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mountaineers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR). The Watchmen go into the 1A Casco test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Lewis Academy went down by Mapleton (Mapleton, OR), 49-45, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sherman for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Southwest Christian will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 61-17 non-league win over Griswold (Helix, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 9-0.
