Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ), 79-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Lions host Columbia (Maplewood, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 26. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Columbia won 51-46 in their recent non-league bout against Payne Tech (Newark, NJ)

Next up, the Boilermakers play the Hawthorne Christian Defenders (Hawthorne, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Garfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Defenders go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 44-43 non-league loss to Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ).
