The Lanesboro Burros basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Grand Meadow Superlarks to 45 in the Burros league triumph on Thursday.
The Burros now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Grove for a A Section 1 contest on Friday, December 22. Lanesboro will battle a Lions team coming off a 66-27 league win over Glenville-Emmons (Glenville, MN). The Lions record now stands at 5-0.
The Superlarks (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Wildcats come into the A Section 1 bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Goodhue was crushed by Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 69-41, in a non-league bout.
