In Thursday's league outing, the Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA) basketball squad beat the host Greenwood Wildcats (Millerstown, PA), by a count of 41-31.
The Eagles (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Halifax (Halifax, PA). The Wildcats go into the Tri-Valley outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Halifax was topped by Tri-Valley (Hegins, PA), 49-35, in a non-league outing.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Newport for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Greenwood will clash with a Buffaloes squad coming off a 51-38 non-league loss to Midd-West (Middleburg, PA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-5.
