Maine High School Basketball - Madawaska overwhelmed by Hodgdon

The Hodgdon Hawks basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Madawaska Owls to 41 in the Hawks league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Aroostook for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Hodgdon will battle a Panthers team coming off a 69-46 non-league loss to Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
The Owls (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Washburn (Washburn, ME). The Beavers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Washburn triumphed over Ashland (Ashland, ME), 52-38, in a league contest.
