In Thursday's league outing, the Independence Home School Lions (Lawrence, KS) basketball squad edged the host Christ Prep Academy Patriots (Lenexa, KS), by a margin of 45-40.
The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy (Overland Park, KS). The Rams go into the Great Plains outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Hyman Brand Hebrew Academy was tipped by Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri (Kansas City, MO), 51-30, in a league outing.
The Patriots now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ozanam for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 6.
