The Ripley Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Kossuth Aggies to 51 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Ripley will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 63-54 non-league win over Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-6.

The Aggies (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record.
