Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Pennfield Panthers (Battle Creek, MI), 48-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to West Catholic (Grand Rapids, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 2-3. West Catholic won 60-51 in their recent non-league bout against Grand River Prep (Kentwood, MI)

Next up, the Panthers play the Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Pennfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
