In Thursday's league outing, the Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] Northern Freeze (Newfolden, MN) basketball squad nipped the visiting Warren-Alvarado-Oslo Ponies (Warren, MN), by a margin of 67-66.

The Northern Freeze (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Canby (Canby, MN). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Canby was tipped by Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN), 73-70, in a league outing.

The Ponies now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Park Rapids for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 27. Warren-Alvarado-Oslo will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 84-41 non-league win over Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
