The Winthrop Ramblers basketball team (Winthrop, ME), was nudged 49-42 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME)
The Seagulls now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison for a C South battle on Wednesday, December 27. Old Orchard Beach will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 35-26 non-league win over Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
The Ramblers (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Bulldogs come into the C South battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Hall-Dale edged Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 87-45, in a league battle.
