Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE), 64-39 in a league bout.
With the victory, Wayne upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 4-3.
The Cadets (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.
